As a child from a traditional southern family, playing Barrel of Monkeys on the floor, church every Sunday, doing well in public school, learning a trade; in every sense privileged .........


Comfortable in middle age, an avid news reader, on learning the tragic story of a full grown chimpanzee destroying the face of a woman who offered a toy, only trying to help it's owner coax her surrogate child back into his cage......


Today being confrontational, ribald, offensive, restless, rebellious.......

Virginia-Highland killing solved?  | ajc.com

"Boyer, 39, was shot dead around 10 p.m. on Nov. 22 outside an apartment building on Virginia Avenue near the intersection with Monroe Drive. He and his girlfriend were getting out of their car when three masked men demanded her apartment keys and started marching the couple to her apartment.

Boyer was shot in a struggle, but his girlfriend escaped without injury, police have said."

Without knowing any more details, this is what I envision.  NRA member card or not?  Had the gun on him or not?  The girl got away.  He did not.

Hero?  .
  1. What were the criminals intentions? 
  2. What were they told?
  3. What Boyer already knew? 
  4. What he reasonably figured there intention were? 
  5. Did anybody panic? 
  6. Who paniced first?
  7. Who knew who had a gun and when?
  8. etc.etc.etc.
Had Boyer a gun on him. He would have had to drawn it right then or it wasn't his gun.
Or gun belonged to the girl whether party to the crime or not.
