BARREL OF MONKEYS: "GENESIS" in Reverse

I consider myself a Democrat. Been called a Socialist. Definitely a bleeding heart liberal.

As a child from a traditional southern family, playing Barrel of Monkeys on the floor, church every Sunday, doing well in public school, learning a trade; in every sense privileged .........

Comfortable in middle age, an avid news reader, on learning the tragic story of a full grown chimpanzee destroying the face of a woman who offered a toy, only trying to help it's owner coax her surrogate child back into his cage......

Today being confrontational, ribald, offensive, restless, rebellious.......

How did I get here from there?

Contraception could be free under health care law - Yahoo! News

Contraception could be free under health care law - Yahoo! News: "For many medical and public health experts, there's no debate.
'There is clear and incontrovertible evidence that family planning saves lives and improves health,' said obstetrician-gynecologist Dr. David Grimes, an international family planning expert who teaches medicine at the University of North Carolina. 'Contraception rivals immunization in dollars saved for every dollar invested. Spacing out children allows for optimal pregnancies and optimal child rearing. Contraception is a prototype of preventive medicine.'"

Charles de Secondat, baron de Montesquieu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Charles de Secondat, baron de Montesquieu - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Montesquieu was also highly regarded in the British colonies in America as a champion of British liberty (though not of American independence). Political scientist Donald Lutz found that Montesquieu was the most frequently quoted authority on government and politics in colonial pre-revolutionary British America, cited more by the American founders than any source except for the Bible. Following the American secession, Montesquieu's work remained a powerful influence on many of the American founders, most notably James Madison of Virginia, the 'Father of the Constitution'. Montesquieu's philosophy that 'government should be set up so that no man need be afraid of another' reminded Madison and others that a free and stable foundation for their new national government required a clearly defined and balanced separation of powers."

Bible has some shocking 'family values' - CNN.com

(CNN) -- When talking about so-called family values, pastors, popes, and politicians routinely quote the Bible as if it were an unassailable divine authority -- after all, they assume, God wrote the Bible, and therefore it is absolutely and literally true.

But that is a misconception. As the Bible itself makes clear, its authors were human beings, many of whom are named: David, Isaiah, Luke, and Paul. These human writers wrote over the course of more than a thousand years, and their writings reflect their own views and the values they shared with their contemporaries. So it's not surprising that inconsistencies are frequent in the Bible, both trivial and profound.

Opponents of same-sex marriage cite Leviticus, which says that when a man sleeps with a man as with a woman it is an abomination. They're right: It does say that. But it later calls for the death penalty for such activity, which only the most rabid opponents would insist on. The Bible also calls eating pork and a woman wearing a man's clothes abominations, yet many would no longer enforce such prohibitions.

Individual biblical texts should not be appealed to selectively: Such cherry-picking is all too easy because of the nature of the Bible as a multi-authored book. Rather, as with another formative text, the Constitution, one needs first to understand it historically -- what did its words mean when they were written -- and then attempt to determine what its underlying values are, not just what it says in a specific passage. Only in this sense can the Bible be considered to have timeless relevance that transcends the historical particularities of its authors.

Associating minorities with crime is irrational, unjust, and completely normal.

Juan Williams pointed out on Fox that we do not associate Timothy McVeigh and the rude people who protest about homosexuality at military funerals with Christianity. But he didn't understand why our minds fail to make that connection. Illusory correlations disproportionately afflict minorities because, in making associations, we mainly link unlikely events. Whites and Christians are not minorities; they are like the newspaper delivered to our front door every day. We do not associate McVeigh with Christians any more than we associate our upset stomach with the newspaper.

Muslims are only the latest victim of illusory correlations in the United States. African-Americans have long suffered the same bias when it comes to crime. In every country on earth, you can find minority groups that get tagged with various pathologies for no better reason than that the pathologies are unusual and the minorities are minorities.

Whenever people who strongly believe in illusory correlations are challenged about their beliefs, they invariably find ways to make their behavior seem conscious and rational. Those who would explicitly link all Muslims with terrorism might point to evidence showing that some Muslims say they want to wage a war against the West, that a large preponderance of terrorist attacks today are carried out by Muslims, and so on. This is similar to our longstanding national narrative about blacks and crime.

People in Thailand will associate white American tourists with pedophilia even though many more acts of pedophilia are committed by Thais. But white Americans are a minority in Thailand, as are acts of pedophilia. So you will hear Thai people shout until they are blue in the face about individual anecdotes showing white Americans who are pedophiles. (The same is true of gay men and pedophilia in the United States.)

Christine O'Donnell: God "Called Me" To Run for Office - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

"The Tea Party-backed Republican also said she thinks conservative women suffer from a double standard in politics, invoking the words of Gloria Steinem.

'...she said you can look at a double standard if they wouldn't attack the male opponent that way - and there's no doubt that they wouldn't say the things they're saying about me, they wouldn't do the things that they're doing if I weren't a woman,' said O'Donnell. 'I'm not whining but there certainly is a double standard especially when it comes to conservative woman.'"

JANE GOODALL's and HER CHIMPS

Nat King Cole/ Nature Boy

In 1948, Cole purchased a house in the all-white Hancock Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. The Ku Klux Klan, still active in Los Angeles well into the 1950s, responded by placing a burning cross on his front lawn. Members of the property-owners association told Cole they did not want any undesirables moving in. Cole retorted,

"Neither do I. And if I see anybody undesirable coming in here, I'll be the first to complain."

Cole was a heavy smoker of Kool menthol cigarettes, believing that smoking up to three packs a day gave his voice the rich sound it had (Cole would smoke several cigarettes in rapid succession before a recording for this very purpose). The many years of smoking caught up with him, resulting in his death from lung cancer on February 15, 1965 at St. John's Hospital in Santa MonicaCalifornia. Cole was 45 years old.

Eastern Islam and the 'clash of civilizations' - latimes.com: "While Americans understandably fret over the rise of an authoritarian China, it is China's dynamic capitalist model that is largely responsible for the consumerism in the Muslim Far East, which is hard to disaggregate from the free flow of ideas in the region.
Who will win the battle for the hearts and minds of Muslim East Asia — the extremist Saudis or the materialistic Chinese? We should be rooting for the Chinese."

Gay voters angry at Democrats could sway election - Yahoo! News: "If Democratic candidates are counting on long-standing support from gay voters to help stave off big losses on Nov. 2, they could be in for a surprise.
Across the country, activists say gay voters are angry — at the lack of progress on issues from eliminating employment discrimination to uncertainty over serving in the military to the economy — and some are choosing to sit out this election or look for other candidates."

PEPPERONI PIZZA WITH ANCHOVIES

He's right, there is a difference.

But.....,
it's like comparing hot dogs to pizza.

Between two people, compromise  is a good thing.....for any project requiring the efforts of more than one person. You could say "compromise" comes automatically with a lifetime guarantee.

A good example would be, Adam and Eve; the compromise between man and woman. No matter how much bolonga Adams brings home; when Eve, owner of frying pan, says , "no," "no" means "NO!" "All men being created equal," not yet, even a question considered. Seriously, anyway.

Then came along came Little Pepperoni.
(Could this be Steve...?)

Some would argue a brand new frying pan.
(Girlfriend.....?)

Maybe even a dog
(Beau, Butch, DeeJay..?)

or a cat.
(Tapioca, Miss Thang, Diva...?)

As to who cut the first deal......,
should  it really matter?

We'll just be arguing semantics.

They ALL should have been neutered!

Supreme Court declines to hear Lesbian couple's suit against Boy Scouts - CSMonitor.com

Supreme Court declines to hear Lesbian couple's suit against Boy Scouts - CSMonitor.com: "In the San Diego case, a federal judge has ruled that a $1-a-year lease arrangement between the City of San Diego and the Boy Scouts for a Boy Scout-run campground and aquatic center violated the establishment clause.

The judge ruled that the Boy Scouts were the equivalent of a religious group, in part because the Boy Scout oath urges its members to do their “duty to God and [their] country.”"

Like to hear their definition of "their" as in '"duty to "their" country."'  How is one doing duty to their country and be exclusionary ?  Sounds so self serving.

Funny!  Was both Cub Scout and Boy Scout; as well as recipient of the Daughter's of American Revolution Good Citizenship's Award, eleventh grade high school.

Fondly remember the two summers spent at Boy Scout camp, located lower Ouachitau Mountains of Arkansas.

Have no pictures that I've taken, but found some pics online taken at Camp Pioneer around the same I was there.

Anglers with giant marlin lose race against clock, miss epic payday

By far the largest marlin, an 800-pound beast, that took five hours to land and was brought to the scale nine minutes past the 9 p.m. deadline, disqualifying a catch that would have netted a team from Texas more than $430,000.
What's more disappointing for Team Great Escape is that if no other team beats that weight during the remainder of the competition -- and marlin that large are rarely caught off Cabo San Lucas -- the catch would have been worth $1 million or more.

Anglers with giant marlin lose race against clock, miss epic payday: "The Bisbee's competition, which attracts anglers from around the world, is in its 30th year and famous for producing drama and controversy.

Epic battles between man and fish have raged long into the darkness. Accusations of cheating have flown, and because of the amount of money involved, winning teams must pass lie-detector tests to determine if all rules were followed. One of many classic stories involved an angler who failed the test, became belligerent and smashed the windows of the hotel that served as tournament headquarters.

First-place prize money varies from year to year, depending on the number of entries and how many side jackpots a winning team has entered. A record check of $2,162,035 was written to the winners in 2008."

JULIA SUGARBAKER the LIBERAL

NPR analyst fired over Muslim comment - CNN.com

"'Look, Bill, I'm not a bigot. You know the kind of books I've written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.' Williams said."
National Public Radio said it terminated the contract of a news analyst after he said on a Fox News show that he gets nervous when he sees people with Muslim garb on planes.

So he gets nervous.  So what.  Must say I don't blame him.  At least he will be vigilant the rest of the flight.  Not like he acted on it.....panicked.

Believe he should not have been terminated from his job.

Personally, I rather know a Muslim when I see a Muslim; so I can be vigilant!

NOBAMA CARRION CHOIR

Never in my forty-eight years have I heard the President's name used as often as Obama's.  Obama says this....., Obama says that...., Obamacare, etc., etc., etc., as apposed to this administration, the White House, or even the Democratic Party.

The poor man can't even make a  move without them crying  on cue as if he was conducting an opera.

"He's a Socialist!"  "He's an elitist!"
"He's a Communist!"  "He's an Arab!"

OTHERNESS
THE HANGING ROPE

There is no denying that the name Obama and being first black American President has made the G.O.P.'s  job as the The Party of No much easier.  Don't care if they are foremost Republicans before all else.

It's still racism;
even if all they did was remain silent.....play dumb.

THE CROSS

Then there is the issue of Obama's faith.

Couldn't help but see a parallel with Jesus's trial. Obviously, Jesus wasn't convincing enough either.

Have you ever wonder what might have happened had it rained the day of Jesus's trial; just enough people staying home resulting in Jesus life being spared.

Although his message remained the same, would there even be Christians today without a Crucifixion?

The words and actions of Tea Party members and those who sympathize with the party, strike me as very similar to the behavior of the crowd voting Jesus fate.

Even to the Salem Witch Trials of colonial Massachusetts.

HOME of the NOBAMA MANIACS

Remember Glenn Beck's Titanic reference? How he would grab the U.S. Constitution, jump into a lifeboat, and be waiting out on the ocean until the panic started?  How he would welcome fellow passengers onto lifeboats after the Titanic sunk?

"When they finally get it, we need to be able to say to each other and say to them — not I told you so, but welcome, brother. Come on, get in the boat."
Positively sure one would have to fit Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin's strict definition of "real Americans" before allowing anyone onto their lifeboats.  But really,  can anyone picture them on the Titanic.....calm and rational.  Probably so hysterical, ended up locked in their rooms.

But as America is  going nowhere (minus land lost to global warming),  more like a  mutiny aboard the U.S.S. AMERICA with the NOBAMA MANIACS  in charge; all else, the PROGRESSIVES, made to walk the plank.

Considering how liberal biased the media, that would leave us with FOXNews as our only source of news; if even anything to report with Progressives out of the picture.

NOBAMA MANIACS
were to have their way, might as well:
  • rewrite the Constitution replacing "We the people" with "ME, MYSELF, & I" or "MASTURBATORY."
  • Instead of "Declaration of Independence", call it the "IMMACULATE EJACULATION."
  • Change the national anthem to "ROW, ROW, ROW YOUR BOAT.

So that's the theme with this years Halloween decorations...... with U.S.S. NOBAMAMANIA being to Republicans as Translyvania is to Count Dracula;  home to life sucking parasites.

IMMACULATE EJACULATION
MASTURBATORY ACTIVIST / DE-ACTIVIST

'Ejaculation' can also mean 'an utterance'.

Also trying to play off  of  'nocturnal emission' with my use of 'immaculate ejaculation'.  When you consider the fact  one would just have more nocturnal emissions if they didn't masturbate, how can one take credit for not masturbating if maybe no need to cause of frequent nocturnal emissions.

Just my sarcastic way of saying , "the things self righteous hypocrites say!"

Pro Life
Virgin Tim Tebow

"Because of my name recognition and because of who I am, I've been given an opportunity to go places where most other people can't go," Tebow said. "I can go into prisons and speak, and no one will say anything. I can go into schools and speak, and they'll love to have me. I can go to all these different places because of who I am as a football player. That's a platform the Lord has given me, and I think it's my responsibility to take advantage of it."
(So who gets credit for this platform.....Tebow or Tebow's Lord?  What about those babies who's mother aborted them....where was the Lord's platform for them?  What about his mother's sacrifice when she took up temporary residence away from home just so he could play football at a school with a coach more favorable his playing style.)~
"It's up to you. No matter how bad your life has been, eternity can be great. It's not how you start, fellas, it's how you finish."
(start, finish, eternity....start, finish, eternity...?  Am I missing something here.  Not to mention...where one finishes depends a lot on where one started.)

"Love it when I'm told I can't do something."

(Until there is sport where women have an equal opportunity at such a platform to "take advantage of it," Tebow is just another man muscling his opinion onto the bodies of women resisting with their opinion. That's still rape.)

Missing a Link
Christine O'Donnell
IQ < Monkey

"It's really funny the way that the media reports things. After that debate my team and I we were literally high fiving each other thinking that we had exposed [that Democratic candidate Chris Coons] doesn't know the First Amendment, and then when we read the reports that said the opposite we were all like 'what?'"
(Republican candidate for Senate in Delaware, defending her remarks on the separation between church and state in a recent debate (via ABC News))

"Evolution's a myth!"

"Then why aren't monkeys still evolving into humans?"

"American scientific companies are crossbreeding humans and animals and coming up with mice with fully functioning human brains."

"I dabbled into witchcraft."

(Not married either. No wonder why.)

"We have god-given sexual desires and we need to understand them and preserve them to be used in god's appropriate context. We need to address sexuality with young people and masturbation is part of sexuality - but it is important to discuss this from a moral point of view...The Bible says that lust in your heart is committing adultery. You can't masturbate without lust!... You're gonna be pleasing each other. And if he already knows what pleases him and he can please himself, then why am I in the picture..."

"AIDS is very quickly becoming the number one killer among teens, next to drinking and driving and drug related accidents. So, we know how to prevent AIDS, and we know how to prevent sexually transmitted diseases: Don't have sex!... Condoms don't work! Condoms fail."
(Don't need her for nocturnal emissions either.  You could say God gave us a hand there.)

"People are created in God's image. Homosexuality is an identity adopted through societal factors. It's an identity disorder."
"By integrating women into particularly military institutes, it cripples the readiness of our defense... And when you have women in that situation, it creates a whole new set of dynamics which are distracting to training these men to kill or be killed."

DON'T

      DON'T
                   TELL

Till a dead soldier's funeral, no one seemed to notice that Phelps and his small church had been doing this for years.   Even now, it still seems to be, only,  about the funeral of a soldier..... they say is not gay....and not funerals in general.

With DADT,
how can they be so sure the soldier wasn't gay?
Can't help but be left with the impression, had we found out after his death the soldier was indeed a "FAG",   the public would lose interest in the story, and his father's case would not have been heard by the Supreme Court.

****

Now compare these "Immaculate Ejaculations" with words from the  dreaded and most fearsome of all creatures,
called many names, but most commonly known as......
" THE LIBERALS!"

"BARAK HUSSEIN OBAMA!"
"Oh he's ah Muslim!"
"Socialist!"
"Elitist!"
Can taste it in the air.  They just-a-dying to use the "N" word.

"HITLERY"
(Just cannot see the "Hitler" resemblence. Nazi Germany didn't allow gays in the militay either.)

How come no one questions this woman's faith?

(not that I think they should / not like she made a stone of her heart.....I mean .....had a stone in her hand)

Or the faith of her husband,
"America's First Black President?"
