The first quote came from an article about misleading people by quoting out of context.
The second quote came from an argument with my mother who felt my political activism, my confrontation style, counterproductive; although did not say this outright, useless.
Felt these quote belonged together.
Somewhat like....how.....a glass holding liquid can be viewed either as "half full" or "half empty."
