BARREL OF MONKEYS: "GENESIS" in Reverse

I consider myself a Democrat. Been called a Socialist. Definitely a bleeding heart liberal.

As a child from a traditional southern family, playing Barrel of Monkeys on the floor, church every Sunday, doing well in public school, learning a trade; in every sense privileged .........

Comfortable in middle age, an avid news reader, on learning the tragic story of a full grown chimpanzee destroying the face of a woman who offered a toy, only trying to help it's owner coax her surrogate child back into his cage......

Today being confrontational, ribald, offensive, restless, rebellious.......

How did I get here from there?

Another COMMENTARY By Mary Kate Cary-USNews

Tea Partyers Are More Mainstream Than Obama

For example, any politician who supports extending the Bush tax cuts, whether just to the middle class or to every American, should propose spending cuts to match. Democrats criticize Republicans for not paying for the “tax cut for billionaires,” as the president is fond of calling it, and want to know how they’d pay for it. Yet there’s a yawning silence when it comes to Democrats explaining how the middle class tax cut would be paid for. Keeping the tax cuts is a good idea, and so is paying for them. That’s a no-brainer to most Americans, but apparently not to politicians.

Believe that puts us right back where we started;  who is going  to pay the price......the richer half or the poorer half?

Stuff revolutions (crimes) made of!

Also want to point out,
"mainstrean",
implies nothing about being on the correct side of the debate.

For example,
you would have to say the same:

  Tea Partyers
 are
more "mainstream"
than
"Jesus"
!

What a bunch of PECKERWOODS!
